Crowns
We understand how important a healthy, confident smile is. When a tooth becomes damaged, weakened, or worn down, a dental crown can restore its strength, function, and appearance — giving you back your smile with confidence.

Composite Restorations
At Dentistry-by-the-Sea, we believe in dental care that’s not only effective but also esthetically pleasing. That’s why we use composite restorations — also known as tooth-colored fillings — to repair cavities and restore your teeth without compromising your smile.

Implants
Missing teeth can affect more than just your smile — they can impact your confidence, your ability to eat and speak comfortably, and even your long-term oral health. We offer dental implants as a permanent, natural-looking solution to restore both function and beauty to your smile.

Dentures
We understand that losing teeth can affect much more than your appearance — it can impact how you eat, speak, and feel about yourself. That’s why we offer custom dentures that are designed to restore your smile, improve your quality of life, and help you feel like yourself again.
What Are Dentures?

A dental crown is a custom-made cap that fits over a damaged or decayed tooth. It protects and strengthens the remaining tooth structure while blending naturally with the rest of your smile.
Crowns are often recommended when a tooth is cracked or fractured, severely decayed, worn down from grinding, treated with a root canal or misshapen or discolored.
What to Expect
Getting a crown typically takes two visits. During your first visit, we’ll gently prepare the tooth and take precise impressions. You’ll leave with a temporary crown while your permanent one is custom-crafted in the lab. At your second visit, we’ll ensure the fit is perfect and then bond it securely in place.
We offer crowns made from high-quality materials like porcelain, zirconia, gold, and porcelain-fused-to-metal — chosen to match your natural teeth in color and strength.

Composite restorations are made from a durable, tooth-colored resin that blends seamlessly with your natural teeth. They are used to repair areas of decay, minor cracks, chips, or worn enamel — all while maintaining the natural appearance of your tooth.
Unlike traditional silver (amalgam) fillings, composite materials bond directly to your tooth, providing both strength and a flawless finish.
Benefits of Composite Fillings
Natural Appearance: Blends in with your tooth color for an invisible restoration.
Strong & Durable: Bonds tightly to the tooth structure for added strength.
Preserves More Tooth: Requires less removal of healthy tooth material compared to amalgam.
What to Expect
The process for a composite restoration is quick, comfortable, and usually completed in a single visit. After gently removing the decayed or damaged portion of your tooth, we apply the composite material in layers, sculpt it to match your tooth’s shape, and harden it with a special curing light. We then polish the restoration for a smooth, natural feel.

A dental implant is a small titanium post that acts as an artificial tooth root. It’s surgically placed into the jawbone, where it integrates with the bone over time to create a strong foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture.
Whether you're missing one tooth, several teeth, or all of them, implants can help you regain a full, confident smile.
Why Choose Dental Implants?
Dental implants are considered the gold standard in tooth replacement for a reason:
Permanent & Secure: Implants are designed to last for decades with proper care.
Natural Look & Feel: Custom crowns are made to match your natural teeth.
Preserve Bone Health: Implants stimulate the jawbone and prevent bone loss.
No Impact on Surrounding Teeth: Unlike bridges, implants don’t require altering neighboring teeth.
Improved Speech & Chewing: Eat and speak with confidence — no slipping or discomfort.
What to Expect
The implant process typically takes place over several months, allowing time for healing and proper integration with the jawbone. Here’s a general outline:
Consultation & Planning: Evaluation of your oral health and bone structure using advanced imaging.
Implant Placement: The titanium post is surgically placed in the jawbone.
Healing Period: Over a few months, the implant fuses with the bone (a process called osseointegration).
Restoration: A custom crown, bridge, or denture is attached to complete your new smile.
We work closely with trusted specialists to ensure the highest level of care and precision throughout your treatment.
Are Implants Right for You?
Most healthy adults with sufficient bone structure are good candidates for dental implants. If needed, we may recommend bone grafting or other preparatory treatments to ensure the best possible outcome.
